Decisions...
"Every decision you make is not a decision about what to do. It's a decision about who you are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do." -Walsch
Discover what you want out of life...
Sometimes you don't realize what you want until you've found it.

Locking up the past
Today I locked the door to my old apt and finally walked away from my past.
It was bittersweet.
The memories I will hold onto are the happy ones.
The move down to Valpo from Walled Lake, Michigan on August 12, 2006 was a hot muggy day, just like today.
I was uncertain about where my life was going.
Almost 4 years later, not much as changed...I am still uncertain about my future.
I guess it didn't seem as scary back then though.
I had someone by my side, someone to hold my hand.
Life can be scary, nerve-racking, exciting and challenging when you're alone. When you're just one.
While many of my friends and family are moving forward in their lives, I can't help but feel like my life just took several steps back.
People are getting married and having babies and I'm the single friend receiving +1 wedding invitations.
I am very much thankful for great friends and family who love and support me unconditionally.
This is just not where I thought I'd be right now in my life.
The door to my past is officially locked...it can't hold me back anymore.
