My first week as "Professor"

Monday was my first day of class. Ahhh! I was so nervous. I have no idea why. I went to college to become a teacher. I had to give myself a little pep talk before class. I know. Silly.  Right? Well, I did.

Today (day 2) went much better once I was able to get past the boring/serious "syllabus day." I was able to relax and be more myself and teach what I know.

I only have 17 students in my class. Pfew! That's a good size - I am so lucky. I am confident it will be a great 6 weeks with these young people.

My goals:
1. make a difference if not in their life, their first year of college.
2.to teach them valuable lessons, skills and techniques they can apply to their life and education.
3. for each of them to earn an A grade.
