This was our 4th Race for the cure event (for me and my mom). We do the Susan G. Koman 5K Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Detroit with friends and family every year.
This year, we recruited my brother, Cody, to come along with us. I think he enjoyed it for the most part, except the 5:30 A.M. wake-up call. He's not a morning person. I had to pull the twin air mattress up from under him to get him up. LOL.
My sis-in-law, Amanda, walked again with us along with my friend, Carrie, her daughter, Tatum and her mom, Peggy.
We had a great time, despite the rain. 35,000 people. That's a huge wet T-shirt contest. Haha!
