Hot & Cold

Ugh! Men are so hot & cold sometimes.

It's annoying.

I know women can be too.

Make up your mind.

Forget the games.

Perfect song/video for this topic....

How to Lose a Guy (or Girl) in 10 Days

No woman wakes up saying, "God, I hope I don't get swept off my feet today!"

Most women want romance.

Not the dating games.

Some like the chase, but...the whole "playing hard to get thing" gets really old...fast.

A woman wants to feel wanted...not like she's one of many on your list.

I watch girl friends (and guys) go crazy while dating.

Anxiously waiting for that call or for that person to finally hold their hand around friends.

This is why dating sucks.

It's too much of a game.

Fear of rejection and coming on too strong keeps us from being honest.

Guys, I'll tell you this...

If she's still saying yes to going out with you...she likes you.

She's interested.

Forget trying to play hard to get.

On the flip side....

Don't be obsessive.

Don't text her a dozen times before noon (unless she's cool with that).

If you've ever seen the movie, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days"...it's the same concept for women.

You can end up losing a guy (or girl) by playing hard to get for too long or by being too obsessive.

So...how do you find a balance?

Good question.

If you figure it out, please share your secret.

"The Station"

"The Station" is a great piece written by Robert J. Hastings.

It was interesting where I first read this.

It has really made me stop and evaluate my life and how I'm living it.

I hope it makes you stop and think too.

" "Yes, when we reach the Station, that will be it!" we promise ourselves. "When we're eighteen. . . win that promotion. . . put the last kid through college. . . buy that 450SL Mercedes-Benz. . . have a nest egg for retirement!" From that day on we will all live happily ever after."

Celebrity Look-Alike

So....I totally stole this idea from the Facebook Doppleganger thing this week.

Which celebrity have you been told you look like?

I've been told...

.

They are three of my favorite actresses!

First Wives Club

"I'm young and I love to be young...I'm free and I love to be free...To live my life the way I want...To say and do whatever I please"

I love this movie...the song is empowering too.
