Masquerade

My church is doing a series called, "Masquerade." It's about the masks we all wear to hide the things we don't want others to see. The secrets we keep, the feelings we hide, the shame or fear we cover up....It has been very enlightening for me and I have learned so much.

Here are a few passages shared Sunday during the sermon that really touched me....

[Acts 3:19] Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

[Psalm 139:23-24] Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

[Joshua 1:9] Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
