Why we want what we can't have....

I've never understood this concept of wanting what we can't (or don't) have, but I get it...to an extent.

For example, women with curly hair want straight hair and some women/men are always changing their hair color/style.

Are we just never satisfied with what have?

I've never understood this concept either, Nikki. I mean, shouldn't you want someone that you know fully wants you back? And happiness is far more than just wanting something and getting it, right?

Thanks for posting those links, Nikki. Very interesting...

There has always been something very intriguing about one's ability to want and want without every really focusing on what may be blurred around the edges, sitting directly in front of them. The element of mystery only lasts for so long -- those who thrive off of the mystery or excitement paired with wanting what one can't have are never truly happy.
