2011 5K Race for the Cure

It was the 3rd year my mom and I walked in the 5K race for the cure breast cancer event in Detroit. Breast cancer has touched the lives of two of my grandmothers, so this cause is very close to our hearts.

This year we had some friends and family join us...Matt, Carrie, her mom-Peggy, Amanda, Ann Marie, and Camden, my adorable nephew. :)

We had a great time, as usual. I am so glad we were able to catch up with old friends, and share this experience with them and family.

We are already looking forward to next year!
