As I get older, I learn who my friends for life will be, even with all the changes throughout our journey. People move away, get married, start families, establish new hobbies, and create new social circles along the way.
Women can be so "catty" sometimes and that is obnoxious. When I read the blog below, I could easily relate. I am no longer stressing over lost friendships that weren't really friendships in the first place. I am happy and feel blessed to have the close friendships I do have. Simply said, I'm not in high school anymore...I do not need to be best friends with absolutely everyone. Life isn't (shouldn't) be a popularity contest. I cherish those closest to me and pray for those I have lost touch with over the years and feel lucky to have known them when I did.
..Mrs. Southern Bride..: When Friends Aren't Friends At All: "Have you ever been in a friendship with someone, for years...when suddenly, they want nothing to do with you? Or have you watched a church..."
