My step-brother, Mark proposed to his girlfriend, Amanda, yesterday. It was the BIG news spreading like wildfire through text messages, phone calls and Facebook. The family is SO excited.
Their proposal story is absolutely adorable....
So, late yesterday afternoon, I received a text from Amanda with a picture of my nephew, Camden, wearing a onesie that said, "Will you marry me?" on it. I'm blonde and thought nothing of it, because she always send me pictures of Camden.
As I started to show some co-workers the pic, they asked if she said yes. Still. Totally oblivious.
I got another text from Amanda of her hand with a ring on it..."and I said YES!" the text said.
Oh my gosh! I am so dumb, I thought. Duh.
I texted back, "WHAT?!" and for her to call me as soon as she could.
When she got home from work, my brother was holding Camden. When he gave Camden to Amanda to hold, Camden was wearing the onesie with the magical question on it. She burst into tears. I love this story.
Here is the picture of my nephew helping his daddy pop the question to mommy. :)
I look forward to standing up in the wedding, as two of my favorite people say their vows of forever, love and commitment.
