Valpo Graduation 2011

Sunday was Valpo's graduation. I am not going to lie, my eyes were full of tears a few times throughout the day. Just thinking about these students and how proud of them I am...it makes me sad to see them leave. They are all amazing students and I am so lucky to have gotten the chance to work with them. I know, I was just their "boss," but these young adults mean more to me than just that. I have watched them grow, mature, cross things off their life's to-do list, get internships, accepted into graduate school, travel the world, get engaged, and offered jobs. I am their mentor, their friend, sometimes...their "mother" and role model. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Congratulations and best of luck to all the new Valpo alumni!
